So, you say, this is not gonna work ever again, so i can just uninstall the driver? Why WINE team removed the driver level access to I/O ports?
It did never work, wine didn't remove anything relevant. The thing Olivier linked is unrelated and only affects DOS applications. Drivers that need I/O port access are not very likely to work anytime soon in Wine, and you don't seem to need it anyways, so I'd just uninstall the driver.
