http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27794 Summary: Unable to type french accented characters Product: Wine Version: 1.3.24 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: lukaschmela(a)gmail.com French is not my locale in Ubuntu, however, I need it in wine applications as well as in Ubuntu native applications. Using the keyboard shortcut (Shift+CapsLock), I can change the keyboard layout in Ubuntu to french azerty and that is also well recognized in wine. The problem is, that when I try to type a french accented letter (e.g. è,à,ê), it only types the unaccented equivalent (e,a,e). This happens in Wine's Notepad as well as in other applications. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
