[Bug 30856] Atmel Studio 6 fails to start - Component missing

Bug is still present in version 1.5.15. Installing Ms Visual Studio Shell
(Isolated) and then AvrStudio6 without any hacks works well. But still the
error message: Cannot find one or more
components. Please reinstall the application.
