It would be nice if someone wants to give a shot at bisecting the kernel
between 4.8.2 and 4.8.3 to find the commit which broke it. You need to be able
and willing to build your own kernel but it's not too complicated, if a bit
distro-dependent. There are a number of guides on the web which should help
with that.
