Same problem in 1.1.9 running on Debian Lenny x86
Same problem 1.1.11. The caracter is invisible until you enter into the inventory screen ( which is incorrectly drawn too ) and you exit that screen. Then the character is partially visible. Running Debian Lenny x86.
