This is a clean install of wine 0.9.16 and googletalk 1.0.0.92. The errors that popped up in the terminal when I tried to log in are attached (they seem to be rpc errors). The error window that pops up is the same: Connection Error: Cannot authenticate to server. The only other strange thing is that I am no longer getting any text showing up in google talk at all. The input boxes show text but all of the other words arenŽt there. I think this is probably due to my language settings (now set to french). Hope this helps someone.
