1.1.35 is a typo in my previous comment, it should have been "1.3.35".

I tested on Windows and no black boxes. Crossover Games's compatibility
database mentions this bug as a "known hardware issue", which I find curious.
Again, I don't have the same problem on Windows on the same hardware.
