[Bug 27032] Gnome Shell does not show Wine program names in dash and panel

standard introducing a relation between .desktop files and WM_CLASS, but as far
as I'm aware that's purely a gnome-shell heuristic that just happens to work in
a lot of cases. Does anyone know if that comment is referring to an actual
standard?
