This seems to be fixed with wine 0.9.59. Could someone confirm this?
Since .NET 2.0 work, I reinstalled Supreme Commander from scratch, and updated it (installing dotnet20 ad vcrun2005 with winetricks) to latest version.
Not fixed on mine. Looks exactly the same as my attached entirely black screen and cursor from wine 0.9.57.
