Switching to the oss driver fixes this problem it seems. However the sound stops working in the cutscenes. Also it introduces a very slight sound lag. Very slight.
Maybe i get it wrong, but when you use OpenAL you use driver OpenAL, not Alsa driver, not OSS driver and because of that, you can't even turn off audio in winecfg (OpenAL driver is missing in Audio tab). Sorry if this paragraph is full of bulshits...
