I found a demo and can sort of reproduce this bug. The game comes up with a black screen. After a click somewhere in that black screen some music starts, and there's something in the lower right of the screen. I can't get beyond that point.
However, the game doesn't use direct3d or directdraw. It loads the DLL, but a +ddraw,+d3d log doesn't bring up anything, so I doubt I'm seeing the original regression. costas, you indicated that the game has a d3d mode and a "normal" mode. I think I'm stuck in normal mode, but I see no obvious way to switch between them.
Hi there, nice to see that obscure old games receive some tender loving care by the wine team! There was a demo here: http://www.localditch.com/interstate-76/downloads.html that says it requires directx3 (d/l link dead) so not sure what you have. The version I tried was the original game with the gold update (it adds 3d hardware acceleration to the game for 3dfx cards and something else) once I get my linux box up and running (just managed to screw everything trying to instal gnome 3 and I lost my linux cd! thank god for windows!) and manage to get a demo of i76 and reinstall everything I will write back. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
