Did you activate "Hardware Acceleration" in-game? I forgot to mention that it is only with this activated the problem occurs.
Yes, everything checked in Graphics Options, including Hardware Acceleration. Some measurement by "WINEDEBUG=+fps wine DKII.exe" gives me cca 85 fps. I would guess - ATI driver bug? Also in bug 22643 someone complains about poor performance in game menu, which i don't see.
