Should I just build it from git or is there a way to get the old version from
the ppa? I tried and failed to get it from the ppa but maybe I'm doing it
wrong:

[~/Downloads]$ apt-get source wine1.7=1.7.21
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree       
Reading state information... Done
E: Can not find version '1.7.21' of package 'wine1.7'
E: Unable to find a source package for wine1.7
