However, I expect the error to return when I install 1.1.24 if I don't delete the .wine directory and reinstall my software (assuming a fix doesn't make it into that version of course). I know that pre 1.0 the advice was always to start with a clean .wine, but I'm assuming that this philosophy is somewhat diluted by the stated aim of supporting upgrade from one version to another.
