This bug is fixed in Wine 1.2-rc1, tested on Kubuntu 10.04. The game no longer
crashes on startup, even on a fresh wineprefix (no winetricks etc.).

There is a new bug now, where it's impossible to get past the first loading
screen, because the "OK" button doesn't react, but it's a separate case. I will
file a new bug report for that.
