Both insist on updating vcrun2005 (even if it's already been installed with winetricks), then download the real installer, currently entropia_universe_setup_12.4.3.92118.exe. As for whether this is fixed, the installer doesn't hang, but it will crash sometimes after installing vcrun2005, and I can't find any consistent reason why, or any solution other than to keep trying until it works.
