Please run a regression test from 0.9.17 to 1.1.7 (per comment 1).
Well, i don't think that's useful anymore. In current git the crash is gone and the app starts, though it takes quite a long time to start, and there's a suspicious line in the console: err:imagelist:IMAGELIST_InternalExpandBitmaps creating new image bitmap (x=17408 y=16)!
