[Bug 24697] Explorer++: missing gradient on the display window

This bug has changed a bit in git: now the display window's background color is
always black instead of using one of the user-selectable gradient colors, the
centre color (white by default). Native gdiplus still works around it.

Terminal output now has a few of these:

fixme:gdiplus:GdipFillPath Not implemented for brushtype 3
