I'm wrong again. The only place I see the library's path in logs is
Mono: Config attempting to parse:
'C:\windows\Temp\{CE63C0A7-F186-42D6-AB03-6524056A10F2}\.ba\BootstrapperCore.config'.

It seems this config file is set using IAppDomainSetup.set_ConfigurationFile.

The application also calls set_ApplicationBase, maybe the path is set there.
