http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35458 Bug ID: 35458 Summary: iTunes 11.1.4 64-bit fails to start Product: Wine Version: 1.7.11 Hardware: x86-64 URL: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ OS: Linux Status: NEW Keywords: download Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: madewokherd(a)gmail.com Classification: Unclassified I had to set the version to Windows Vista to get iTunes to install in a 64-bit prefix. When starting iTunes, I get a message box saying: "Apple Application Support was not found. Apple Application Support is required to run iTunes. Please uninstall iTunes, then install iTunes again." Shortly before the error is a failed registry read, so I suspect the installer: 0024:Call advapi32.RegOpenKeyExW(80000002,00407a70 L"Software\\Apple Inc.\\Apple Application Support",00000000,00000001,0033f954) ret=00401042 0024:Ret advapi32.RegOpenKeyExW() retval=00000002 ret=00401042 I can't test in a 32-bit prefix because the download page seems to only want to give me the 64-bit version. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
