This happens with the Nouveau Vulkan driver/Mesa 25.3.4. and with Nvidia binary 580.126.09 as well. Reverting the following commit on top of Wine-11.2 fixes the problem for me: commit 7be265ec89a89db65f0b13f9b7c20c34573b6bb4 wined3d: Avoid some invalidation when texture states are set redundantly. The game is an oldie from 1998, but it runs reasonably well in Wine. All I had to change was limiting the VRAM size to 2048 (or lower) in the registry, because the game displays only plain surfaces as textures when detecting more than 2 GB of VRAM. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
