Is this still an issue in current (1.1.13 or newer) wine?
Hmm. I am afraid that I have misplaced one of the two game CDs so - at present - I am not able to test the game for the bug again (I have deleted my ~/.wine folder several times afterwards so I don't even have it installed any more).
