This sounds crazy :-)
With wrappers, I tried different version of wine - 1.6, 1.7.4, 1.7.5, 1.7.10
and finally 1.7.14 (with both wrappers playonmac and wineskin).
I know wrappers are not supported here, but it sounded to me like a general
issue since it was reproducible in every wrappers I tested.

And you made it working without winetricks options or dll overrides ??
