http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58552 --- Comment #42 from Stian Low <wineryyyyy(a)gmail.com> --- Windows Carla seems to work about as well as Linux and reproduces the minor label flickering issue for Linux version: https://kx.studio/Downloads So Wine 10.13 seems to support Windows binaries of VST handlers without any wine-staging and without yabridge. Yabridge converts vst.dlls to vst.so but Wine ingests and processes the DLLs directly similar to LMMS. I will take a closer look at LMMS VST handling for Linux vs Windows diffs of build code. Maybe Windows LMMS uses a lib that handles lower level details consistently across Windows apps in a way that isn't replicated by Linux builds against Wine. This seems to prove some cross VST handler solution is mostly supported by Wine and that the remaining work is to figure out how to reproduce this solution from Windows builds to Linux builds. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
