No better than originally except different problems.
Notepad works OK. My application reads MIDI connection and converts to music
notation as it was designed to do. When I try to save the file (midi file) a
window pops up telling me there was a big error. The error details can be
viewed by mousing a button. When I do, everything crashes. See attachment.
