After doing a new install of desura in a clean prefix, I get the following error trying to start it: "Failed to update Desura: Check sum failed on file \\desura.exe [49.0]"
After running it for the first time desura.exe is replaced by an empty file, so I can't try to start it at all.
Are you sure that it wasn't simply a download fail (maybe an unstable internet connection or a server error)? I tried it on my own with newest wine and Desura just works.
