I selected the game, then backup local game files, choose ~/Desktop as folder, and i pressed the "Make a new folder button" the dialog came up alright, but the box didn't want to accept any keystroke (neither number or letter). After that, I manually made a new folder from the gnome desktop, and I was able to choose the folder.
