As others have reported dragging the mouse over menus and text boxes highlights the areas but there's no text. I have a patched version of wine-staging 2.10 that fixes the Steam crash, and the current wine-staging 2.12, and text doesn't appear in the Steam store using either version. So it must have something to do with the latest Steam update, as I know for certain that the text used to be fine with 2.10 until the last few days.
