I cannot reproduce this any more. Can you retest?

Assuming that the original regression test was correct, the only patch I can
imagine that fixed the game is 6a981239db5f1fda895681c99d6d81c48c287c4f, but
that is unlikely unless we have a major memory corruption somewhere.
