Might be worth a try for you too:

After failing install I could find the msi-file in 
/home/louis/.wine/drive_c/users/louis/Application Data/Labcenter
Electronics/Proteus 8
Demonstration/install_8.6.23525.0/setup_demo8.6.23525.0.msi

Then run like:

wine msiexec -i setup_demo8.6.23525.0.msi KEY_SERVER=test

--> The installation succeeds
