Under Ubuntu Mate 16.04 my wine has version 1:1.6.2-0ubuntu14.2
Under Ubuntu Mate 20.04 the wine-stable has version 3.0.1ubuntu1
I have also installed wine64 with version 5.0-3ubuntu1
What is surprising:
Calling a windows program like notepad under vDosPlus gives back control to the
cursor keys.
So it is not wine that causes the problem - rather vDosPlus does'nt catch the
signals.
