[Bug 30023] Google Earth installer (google update version) complains "could not connect to the internet"

I tried with 1.7.22 I let the program run around 1 minute. Couldnt see the
erorr, but it shouldnt take so long. Console showed that it tried to look some
proxy.

I assume its same state as reported before.
