I recently moved to Fedora 42 with KDE Plasma, and have not experienced this
issue since (although CSP does take much longer to start - however this
behaviour is preferable to the behaviour on Cinnamon)

So this might be down to how each distro/DE handles loading of the materials in
Clip Studio Paint when loading?
