I can't reproduce this issue anymore as I did in comment 13.

I'm now using wine-5.13 from the slackware64 package on sourceforge,
slackware64 live,
nouveau drivers, G92 chip, Mesa 19.0.6 .

I don't think this proves that the issue is gone, considering that Richard
Thier's findings in comment 14 didn't confirm my observations about
LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 and toggle-to-desktop to work around the issue.
