When running quite a few python scripts I get a traceback:

$ wine c:\\python25\\python opendict.py

    from random import Random as _Random

    self.seed(x)
  File "C:\Python25\lib\random.py", line 108, in seed
    a = long(_hexlify(_urandom(16)), 16)
WindowsError: [Error -2146893801] Windows Error 0x80090017

Adding the following to python script usually helps:
import os
def ni(i): raise NotImplementedError

os.urandom = ni
