I found messages similar to those I knew in Ankh Heart of Osiris, and in the attachment to bug #18870, comment #0 at http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=21693 (although that's a different bug). Perhaps knowing this helps to isolate bugs in both Luka and Ankh (or Wine or XOrg).
