When loading the install program with "wine /cdrom/Setup.exe", it fails with a messagebox that reads: "Setup has detected that your system requires a newer version of DirectX before proceeding. Would you like to install it now?" A +relay trace run reveals that the message is displayed after calling a number of functions that reference "C:\\Windows\\System\\d3d9.dll".
