You could at least test with 1.1.7 to find out if this is really a regression.
OK. I'll start it as soon as I can. I'm going to build 32-bit Wine 1.1.7 on a 64-bit system. I'll let you know the outcome.
Built and tested. And no, on Wine 1.1.7 Shareaza doesn't remember those settings either. Exactly the same behaviour as on Wine 1.3.8. So to me there's no regression here and you were right it was worth testing to make sure about that. One more thing. In case if that would matter, I always use the 'SS2 optimized Shareaza' and I tested that version now on Wine 1.1.7 as well. There is also a standard version, both are listed here: http://shareaza.sourceforge.net/?id=download .
