Since Wine 0.9.45 (and now Wine 0.9.46) when I enable 3D desktop all the applications' main windows (the application launched with Wine as eMule and World Of Warcraft as example) don't have window canvas. If I disable 3D desktop and then enable it again windows canvas are drawn. I experienced this with Beryl and now with Compiz (latest Ubuntu main repository version). If I use normal desktop everything works fine. Seems as if that windows are created with <no border> or similar flag. Hope this would be useful, Ema. Ps.
