P.S. I was using the winehq-devel package before.  I tried switching to the
winehq-staging package, but that didn't help.   winehq-stable doesn't work at
all (the program crashes when I try to run it, with lots of
"0066:err:winedbg:dbg_handle_debug_event 0061:0062: not a registered process or
thread (perhaps a 16 bit one ?)" at the command line).
