I can answer that myself now, it is in fact fixable with a native compiler for
both Legend of Grimrock and Legenf of Grimrock II. Corruption on starting
screen I see is different though, it looks like constant pink noise covering
the whole screen. Strangely that applies only to the start screen, not to the
quit menu for example.
