Ah, is that so? I didn't know.

I tried launching a couple more apps, and the crash happens every time. But in
all other cases, the app in question works fine. 

However, for mIRC, the focus is simply lost, and I don't get it back even if I
close the crash dialog. Only way to do anything is to kill -9 the mIRC process
itself...

I also tried the non-staging version of wine. Same issue is reproduced there as
well.
