In GST_DEBUG shortly before freeze, there are beauties like: 4786:gst_decode_bin_expose:<decodebin36:src_0> added new decoded pad That's quite high, given that I doubt there are more than 8 streams at any given time. Yet the point remains that disabling winegstreamer doesn't fully cover the problem, so it seems to happen deeper...
