It indeed hangs in the splash screen. Copied native comctl32.dll and commctrl.dll to ~/.wine/windows/system and ran with: WINEDLLOVERRIDES="comctl32=n" wine ~/.wine/drive_c /Program\ Files/Shareaza/Shareaza.exe It seems to work just fine then. Maybe you could try this method too, and then try a WINEDEBUG=+snoop to see what it's really calling in comctl32. Let me know if it works for you too.
