[Bug 32268] When attempting to install RaiderZ a new mmog that launched yesterday the installer causes a stack a record overflow.

So it stopped crashing? Did you try in a clean prefix before installing ie8? If
not please try again, it's important to test without any winetricks stuff and
check if the original stack overflow does not happen after update.

Bug 22152 talks about wine not being able to run pando-based installers.
