i usually disable winedevice in DLLOverrides, since i don't like the behavior
of 1 million (just kidding) broken symlink in the dosdevices folder, but
anyway.
in a new prefix with winedevice NOT disabled steam sill refuses to startup

I use plain vanilla wine
