linux: 2.6.20.7-slh-smp-1
wine: 0.9.35~winehq0~ubuntu~6.06-1

During installtion I got a "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" pupup with
"Runtime Error!"

$ wget http://steampowered.com/download/SteamInstall.msi

$ md5sum SteamInstall.msi
6f51465c501685d2976ed864b837efc0  SteamInstall.msi

$ wine msiexec -i SteamInstall.msi

Installation seems to work fine.
But after that steam updates itself and crashes.
