[Bug 32812] Hard Truck Apocalypse crashes on start with built-in msvcp71

It is exmachina.log in the game directory what the game complains about.
This file contains debug messages from the game engine. The file is created
correctly (and filled with info) when using a native msvcp71.
With built-in msvcp71 and before the regression the file is not created at all.
With built-in msvcp71 and since commit 79f314 the file is created, but it is
empty (0-byte long).
