Hello Austin,

I don't have a magic glass ball to guess everything that might have gone wrong.

You need to provide more detailed information about what exactly doesn't work
and/or do little more pre-investigation on your own.

* steps to reproduce, i.e. where exactly the message is shown ("I ran 'foo'",
"I clicked 'X'", ...)
* trace log output/snippets showing it still doesn't work with the registry
present and as proof it's the same issue from this bug and not something else
