Im running into the exact same and will spend some time researching on this
ntdll error. Maybe because the game was originally installed on a ntfs drive,
can there be problems because its now on a ext4 drive ?!

I also have 24gb ram but not noticed problems, beside of the mem usage is not
so high but when the PU is loaded on windows, the memory usage is also only 4gb
or something.

Maybe we get futher on this ntfs issue \m/
